Jörgen has been working with research, development and evaluation of image analysis technology for many years, and has been consulted by, for example, Swedac, Agricam, Ericsson, Swedish National Laboratory for Forensic Sciences, and Rete Ferroviaria Italiana in applications of image analysis in airborne reconnaissance, press hardening, cattle health, face tracking, forensic image analysis, surveillance and fire monitoring.

Jörgen pursues his own research at Linköping University, supervises PhD and MSc students, and reviews papers for scientific journals and conferences.
